Job Description & Responsbilities

Responsbilities:

This position fully supports the science nutrition proportion of existing and new products, lead/support science nutrition projects as per business needs, work closely and proactively within Danone science organization (local and global) and x-functional stakeholders, as well as external partners.

This position is to

1, Strengthen the health position of product portfolio/scientific & nutrition communication to enhance brand/product superiority and uniqueness.

2, Support business growth through generating/collecting and applying (local) science & nutrition substantiation, as well as influencing internal/external stakeholders.

3, Ensure nutrition claims compliance with Danone and local policy, enabling Science to leverage Growth & Credibility

4. Prepare registration dossiers of new product formula design and scientific evidence report based on new GB requirements.

The role is to ensure consistency between Nutrition philosophy, scientific communication, and regulatory status. It also leverages Nutrition Science and Knowledge in a local & global dimension.

Role & Responsibility:

1. Provide Nutritional guidance/content to support product/digital service innovation in China market

2. Support science nutrition communication to internal stakeholders and consumers/HCPs

- Be responsible for the scientific content of communication and dossier

-  Identify and develop opportunities of Claim evolution or new claims

-  Monitor the market benchmarks

3. Support science nutrition projects to generate local evidence for innovation and communication

       4. Be internal science expert to give trainings to x-functional teams 

        5. Bridge the synergy with regional, global, and other BUs on the nutrition science programs and development

Qualifications:

1. Strong nutrition or medical background and fast learning profile for advanced science

2. Strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese/English

3. Strong interpersonal skill to build influential and productive relationship

4. Proven projects management skills

5. At least more than 2 years’ experience (FMCG R&D working experience is a plus)

6. Experienced in working/studying in a multi-cultural, cross-functional, and local/global environment (nice to have)

7. Minimal Master Degree or above in the field of medical, nutrition, pharmaceutical sciences or biology with qualifications and extensive experience in nutrition sciences.  Academic degree in the field of paediatrics or nutrition with clinical study or medical statistical experience would be a plus.
