岗位职责和要求

岗位职责:

As the owner of Aptamil portfolio, this role will lead and drive our ambition to be market leading in the most scientifically breakthrough and ultra premium baby formula space targeting highly sophisticated post 90s, 95s, 00s mums.

It’s a strategic role in developing and guiding the local BU team of a clear portfolio strategy and design, bring to market superior NPD pipeline and winning value propositions to drive long term sustainable growth.

Deliver long-term strategy & value proposition:

1. Understand consumers better than competition and translate this into brand strategies and plans that impact consumers and drive disruption

2. Lead “brand book” including winning brand proposition, ladders and other key brand assets such as VI and product stories, from total portfolio to product specific. 

Develop long-term portfolio and NPD:

1. Develop an innovation pipeline to drive growth agenda. Act as Business lead for innovation projects.

2. Generate future engine & product design strategy 

3. Lead in-depth consumer understanding, to generate China-for-China innovation ideas. Mobilize cross team and global resource to achieve on-time launch. 

4. Co-work with global team to drive synergy and efficiency on innovations

5.  Analyse geographic and category white spaces to identify new opportunities

Partner closely with local BU marketing:

1. Deliver the RTM & launch plan for new product launch

2. Ensure the implementation of overall brand strategy and communication

3. Understand the current business performance, integrated marketing plan, consumer feedbacks etc. to optimise further brand strategy

Be the voice of the brand to the global team:

1. Champion China’s voice in global forums for brand & innovation

2. Collaborate on globally led brand design and innovation projects

3. Align China brand strategy under the framework of global Aptamil objectives

岗位要求:

Functional Competency: 

Proven track record of successful innovation projects and experienced in NPD process. Familiar with stage gate methodology preferred

  1. Strong analytical skills to extract meaningful insights for brand value proposition and innovation
  2. Effective collaboration with S&I team and research to support projects
  3. Have developed superior brand assets including but not limited to product stories, message house, visual assets.
  4. Ability to translate complicated technology into easy-to-understand consumer language.

 Leadership Competencies:

1.       Strong strategic thinking, good sense of the full business picture.

2.       Good communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders and multi-cross function team.

3.       Decisiveness and autonomy to lead the agenda and set the stage for great results

4.       Confidently work with senior stakeholders without losing one’s point of view

Qualification, Knowledge & Experience: 

 Minimum university graduate.

  1. 6-8 years of mkt experience, at least 3 years’ experience as brand/sub-brand owner within FMCG/related industry or infant nutrition, functional food companies.
  2. Solid experience in managing international/global communication.
  3. Good skill of market trend understanding and consumer insight generating.
  4. Fluent in English and Mandarin in verbal and in written.
